Writing Challenge
Today’s writing challenge question: Do you enjoy being alone? What do you do when you’re by yourself?
I love easy questions. I enjoy and savor solitude. I can usually be found with my nose in a book if I have spare time.
Many people confuse being alone with being lonely. I know the difference. It’s possible to feel lonely in a crowded room. It’s about the connections between people. If I am not emotionally connected to the people in the crowded room, I could feel lonely. (Admittedly, I rarely put myself in the position of being in crowds since I prefer being at home.)
I think I’m lucky because I enjoy my time alone. My own company is just fine with me. With pets in the home, it’s never lonely anyway. I consider them family members. Some people never learn that being alone is preferable to keeping bad company.
Ramblings of a Perforated Mind 
When I am alone, I like listening to music, playing video games, walking my dog, drawing or just surfing the internet. I really am never lonely because I have so many friends and they are always either texting or calling or we are hanging out. After classes, it’s either off to baseball practice or we have a game or I’m off to the mall to either my pt job or to hang with friends. I guess this is normal stuff for someone 18 but I guess things can change as one gets older in life, but I hope to always not be lonely, don’t know how that would ever feel but I know I would be sad.
Things do change with age! Priorities also shift. You sound like you have great friends.
yep, I have lots and most are girls. Most of the dudes I hang with are surfers or go boarding like me. I kinda figured life changes that way as one gets older, 😦
