Japanese

You might remember that Bela and I received a Try the World box featuring Japanese foods.  We have not yet tried everything, but Bela decided to try the seaweed and tea this weekend.  The tea was a hit!  The seaweed, however, was not.  Sometimes we need to work up to trying new foods.

Fortunately, we have also found Panda cookies in North Platte stores…we are always willing to try cookies!

Try the World

I’m always searching for cool things to try, so my first adventure (for Bela) was LootCrate.  My friend, Lisa, was telling me how cool it was, so we tried it.

I stumbled upon the Try the World boxes recently, and when I got the “buy the Japan box, get the Paris box free,” I figured it was as good a time as any to give Try the World a shot.  Our box of food came today!  It was heavier than I had anticipated, but I took it home joyfully.

Our lavender honey had leaked a bit in the Paris box, but the seal was intact.
